ATKINS BLACK SATIN APEX SEAL SET RX-8
The set consists of 6 Black Satin ATKINS Apex seals. Ideal for use in new and used rotor housings.
The seals are made of a harder material and, with the ATKINS dry lubricant impregnated Black Satin coating, offer a shorter running-in period and a longer service life.
These sealing strips have the ability to retain oil better and the anti-abrasion surface sacrifices the smear layer during initial contact and abrasion while forming a work hardening surface.
The two piece ATKINS 2mm Apex seals have wider corners and thus protect the rotor housing (trochoid).
There is a series size (0.075 ") to choose from.
Suitable for all Mazda RX-8 4Port and 6Port Renesis engines of all years.
We strongly recommend using new Apex springs.
