RAVENOL Break-In Oil SAE 30 is a mineral running-in oil for the first filling and the running-in of repaired or revised engines.
It does not use additives to improve the friction value (friction modifier) in order to significantly shorten the running-in phase for repaired and modified engines. The piston rings are set quickly.
Due to a high proportion of 2.5% ZDDP (zinc dithiophosphate) (this corresponds to approx.2,500 ppm zinc), RAVENOL Break-In Oil SAE 30 is particularly recommended for running in classic V8 engines with flat tappets.
Application note:
RAVENOL Break-In Oil SAE 30 serves as a classic running-in oil and may therefore only remain in the engine for a short time (max. 1000 km). The particularly high proportion of wear-inhibiting additives offers extra protection in the critical running-in phase of repaired engines. Please observe the specifications of your engine repair company during the running-in phase. Avoid high engine loads and speeds.
Attention: RAVENOL Break-In Oil SAE 30 is not suitable for vehicles with catalytic converters.
